Understand the creative perception through portrait study. 2 hours Acrylic painting workshop by the artist J Kalidass. Understand basic knowledge on acrylic painting, understand materials, techniques of painting, facial proportion and drawing.
Participants will be given a hyper-link, where they could view step by step painting process of a portrait.
Instructor; J Kalidass, to guide the participant in their painting process.
Instructor to conduct critique session.
All materials provided (Acrylic paints, brushes, painting palette, rags, drawing materials, canvas panel).
About J Kalidass
20 years ago Kalidass started oil painting with a renowned Singapore pioneer Artist; Wee Shoo Leong, since than he has graduated with distinction from Lasalle college of the arts Singapore and University of Tasmania, Australia. He has been exhibiting his artwork for 13 years.
Notably, he was featured in a documentary entitled "Destination Art" that was broadcast on Channel New Asia nationwide in 2012 and was even invited to travel to South India as part of the filming process. He was commended by former President of Singapore; Mr S R Nathan for a portrait that was presented to him on 1 February 2008.
